Try out Pond's White Beauty Naturals for FREE with me!

I finally got to try the latest Pond's White Beauty Naturals line during the past week. I had to wait for my Obagi Blue Peel to finish before I could start using the products.

It's a relatively simple daytime regimen since there's only two products: Pond's White Beauty Naturals Gentle Exfoliating Foam and Pond's White Beauty Naturals Day Cream.

Pond's White Beauty Naturals Gentle Exfoliating Foam has a light fresh scent that's perfect for daytime use.

It's very creamy in consistency. There are also telltale microbeads since it is an exfoliating face wash. I say telltale because the microbeads are quite few and far between so much so that at first I thought I had imagined them.

Pond's White Beauty Naturals Gentle Exfoliating Foam lathers up to a sudsy foam that feels quite nice on the face. I have oily combination skin and I was surprised when it felt rather dry and taut after washing. I have not really experienced the taut feeling from the other Pond's facial washes I use (namely Pond's Pure White, Pond's Gold Radiance, and Pond's Flawless White). Were my eyes playing tricks on me or did my face look whiter just after washing? :P

After washing, it's time for Pond's White Beauty Naturals Day Cream. I had high expectations for this because Angelica Panganiban said that it's the lightest face cream she has ever used and it feels like you have nothing on.

Having said that I was expecting a cream of feather light consistency. Looking at the photo above, I think it looks pretty rich and thick. I found the strong scent overpowering. If the facial wash smelled fresh, this one's bordering on perfume-y.

Pond's White Beauty Naturals Day Cream is definitely a lot lighter than Pond's Age Miracle Day Cream and Pond's Gold Radiance Day Cream (both of which are anti-aging) but declaring it to be the lightest I've ever used would really be pushing the envelope because it's not. Angelica did say that she's low maintenance and so she may not have used too many day creams to compare this one with. It is however non-greasy and it gives your skin a smooth finish after application.

So what do I think?

Pond's White Beauty Naturals Gentle Exfoliating Foam

I'd recommended this for people with oily and/or combination skin. Those with normal to dry skin may find it overly drying.
It's very gentle as an exfoliator since there are very few microbeads and they are not in any way abrasive. Having said that, it may be good to try if you have sensitive skin since the more hardcore exfoliating washes have sandy textures.
I like the light, clean, and fresh scent.
It may help make your make-up look fresh longer if you wash with this first since it does make your skin more dry for at least a few hours.

Pond's White Beauty Naturals Day Cream

I'd recommend this for all skin types especially during hotter and more humid days since it's light, moisturizing, and non-greasy.
The scent is a tad too strong for me, especially when I first apply it. It does wear off after a little while though... either that or my nose just got used to it. In any case I don't like perfume-y facial products.
It makes your skin smooth immediately after application.
It contains multiple range UV protection but I don't know the exact SPF since the product (and even the press kit) doesn't really say. If it follows the Pond's pattern when it comes to day creams though it should be around SPF 15-17. I really do think they should put the SPF value on their day creams' packaging because that's one of the key factors that a person considers for daytime use... right?
I can't tell if it whitens my skin since I just went through the Obagi Blue Peel. My skin is the whitest it has ever been as a result.

If you ask me, I still prefer Pond's Gold Radiance to this line.
